French is now the Co-Editor-in-Chief of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/about-rensep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RENSEP<\/a>\u2019s journal <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/praxis-knowledge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Praxis-Knowledge<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Aaron has already been actively involved at RENSEP, overseeing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/blog-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog<\/a> submissions, as well as editing and proofreading research articles in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Praxis-Knowledge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fitting to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/our-mission-statement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">global perspective<\/a> of RENSEP, Aaron is a historian of global intellectual history and the history of knowledge. He has worked extensively on topics such as esotericism and its relationship to modern science, philosophy, politics, and art. In his PhD dissertation, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/Max-Weber-Rudolf-Steiner-and-Modern-Western-Esotericism-A-Transcultural-Approach\/French\/p\/book\/9781032566399\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Max Weber, Rudolf Steiner, and Modern Western Esotericism: A Transcultural Approach<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, he compared Max Weber and Rudolf Steiner with regard to the influence of esotericism on their thinking, as well as their interest in Eastern philosophy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His work is interdisciplinary in many ways and brings together perspectives from the history of religions, intellectual history, the history of science, science and technology studies, sociology, and the study of esotericism. This interdisciplinary approach resonates strongly with RENSEP\u2019s aim to overcome disciplinary boundaries and to approach esoteric practices and experiences through multiple methodological perspectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of his work also engages with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/a-matrix-of-esoteric-practices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">esoteric practices<\/a> and forms of practical knowledge, particularly through his research on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.academia.edu\/118329082\/Esotericism_against_Capitalism_Rudolf_Steiner_s_Reform_Pedagogy_as_a_Site_of_Resistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthroposophical pedagogy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.degruyterbrill.com\/de\/document\/doi\/10.1515\/9783111062624\/html?srsltid=AfmBOoqPcnPraXi6Pav19onkGUGQhjjwePzZRS-sYNNrV2qMf_5VtdDD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">architecture<\/a>, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.academia.edu\/36825908\/Revival_of_the_Mysteries_Esotericism_and_the_Re_enchantment_of_the_Arts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">intersections between esotericism and art<\/a>, which is relevant to the praxeological orientation of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Praxis-Knowledge.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are therefore very pleased to welcome Aaron as Co-Editor-in-Chief of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Praxis-Knowledge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
