{"id":11419,"date":"2026-08-04T07:09:23","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T06:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/?p=11419"},"modified":"2026-08-04T07:09:23","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T06:09:23","slug":"new-publication-series-rensep-research-dossiers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/fr\/news\/new-publication-series-rensep-research-dossiers\/","title":{"rendered":"New Publication Series: RENSEP Research Dossiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are proud to announce the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/research-dossiers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RENSEP Research Dossiers<\/a>, a new open-access publication series dedicated to documenting and reflecting on research projects funded, supported, or otherwise connected to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RENSEP<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each Research Dossier is a commissioned collection of contributions developed around a specific project, collaboration, or research outcome. Bringing together scholars, practitioners, artists, and other contributors, the series provides a space for reflecting on the diverse forms of knowledge that emerge through collaborative investigations of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/a-matrix-of-esoteric-practices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">esoteric practices<\/a>. In doing so, it reflects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/our-mission-statement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RENSEP&#8217;s commitment<\/a> to advancing the interdisciplinary, global, and practice-oriented study of esoteric practices while fostering dialogue across conventional boundaries between scholars, practitioners, and artists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are also pleased to announce the publication of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/rensep-research-dossier-i-the-rensep-artists-award-2024\/\">inaugural RENSEP Research Dossier<\/a>, dedicated to the RENSEP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/news\/ghosts-of-the-great-north-wood-natasha-v-moody-wins-rensep-artists-award-for-exploring-esoteric-ecology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Artist&#8217;s Award 2024<\/a>, which was organised in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aup.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arts University Plymouth<\/a>. The dossier documents the outcomes of the Award, which was established to support research through artistic practice at the intersection of art and esotericism. It centres on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/private\/ghosts-of-the-great-north-wood-alchemising-ecological-grief\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ghostwood<\/a>, a site-sensitive body of work by Natasha Viosna Moody exploring ecology, magical consciousness, alchemy, material transformation, and the spectral memory of London&#8217;s fragmented Great North Wood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bringing together contributions by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rensep.org\/about\/scientific-commitee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Judith Noble<\/a>, Michelle Foot, Natasha Viosna Moody, and Stephen Felmingham, the dossier situates the Award within the growing interest in esoteric and magical practices in contemporary art. It explores artistic practice as a mode of esoteric inquiry, showing how plant matter, glass, metal, light, writing, and performance can become vehicles for ecological, mythopoetic, and experiential knowledge.
